Improving Turbine Oil Cleanliness
Prolubz Solutions achieved OEM recommended standards for the turbine oil used by Filatex India Ltd. Filatex India Ltd. was installing a new steam turbine for its operational purposes. As per OEM procedure the equipment is cycled with the lubricant during its testing and results are checked. Post testing, Prolubz Solutions was tasked with filtering the lubricant as per OEM standard which could be used for the procedure. Prolubz Solutions employed mobile low vacuum dehydration chamber along with 2-micron filter system. It was critical that the lubricant be filtered as per specific standards as it would affect the entire steam turbine system. Prolubz Solutions achieved a cleanliness standard of NAS 6 and moisture level less than 400ppm.
